Albert Finney signs up for new Bond movie

Melbourne: Legendary actor Albert Finney has been signed on to co-star in Sam Mendes`` upcoming James Bond film.

According to the Daily Mail, the actor who has five Oscar nominations joins fellow Brits Daniel Craig, Judi Dench and Ralph Fiennes, as well as Spaniard Javier Bardem. Finney will play a high ranking intelligence official, and it is rumoured that he will have supervisory powers over M, who in turn keeps watch over the activities of Bond, played by Daniel Craig. The veteran actor has a number of BAFTA and Golden Globe awards to his credit apart from an Emmy. ANI
