London: Brad Pitt is learning to drive a tank as he prepares for his latest role as a US soldier on a mission behind enemy lines in World War Two drama `Fury`.
The idea is to make the battle scenes more realistic and the producers have scheduled training sessions for Pitt and his co-stars, in Wiltshire and Germany.
A source revealed that these camps will involve hardcore physical exercise as well as advanced tank driving, the Sun reported.
Steven Spielberg did a similar thing for `Saving Private Ryan`, which made the actors feel like real soldiers.
Fury, directed by David Ayer, co-starring Shia Labeouf, will release next year.
