Los Angeles: Director Bryan Singer has shared a snap shot of one of the pages from the script of `X-Men: Apocalypse`, the eighth installment of the superhero franchise.
Singer, who has earlier directed four parts of the adventure series, made his debut on Instagram, posting the snippet, reportedly.
"@xmenmovies #xmen," Singer captioned the picture. The film, which already has a release date of May 27, 2016, is a sequel to `X-Men: Days of Future Past`.
Singer, Simon Kinberg (`Days of Future Past`, `X-Men: First Class`), Michael Dougherty (`X-Men 2`)and Dan Harris (`X-Men 2`) are credited as the writers on the picture that the director posted.
The opening scene appears to be set in Egypt or one of the 10 other African countries the Nile runs through, as the film opens with the lines: `the Nile is streaked...`.
Singer did not take part in pre-release publicity of `X-Men: Days of Future Past` recently due to a pending sex-abuse lawsuit against him, saying he didn`t want to distract attention from the film.
