Los Angeles: Sandra Bullock, is reuniting yet again with the director of ‘The Proposal,’ Anne Fletcher, this time on an untitled project at Warner Bros.
Details are scarce, but the contemporary-set project is described as being in the vein of ‘Saturday Night Fever’ and Paul Mazursky`s 1978 film ‘An Unmarried Woman,’ which starred Jill Clayburgh as a woman confronting a crumbling marriage.
It will be written by Pamela Faulk and Michael Ellis, best known for penning the 2001 Jennifer Lopez romantic comedy "The Wedding Planner." Bullock also will serve as an executive producer.
The deal comes as Bullock is in negotiations to star in the studio`s outer space survival movie, ‘Gravity,’ from director Alfonso Cuaron. ‘Gravity’ is vying with ‘Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close’ as her next movie.
Bullock and Fletcher -- along with ‘Proposal’ co-star Ryan Reynolds -- are already developing a ‘Midnight Run’-style action comedy at Universal titled ‘Most Wanted.’ It would seem to be a winning combination given that ‘The Proposal’ earned more than USD 300 million at the worldwide box office last year.
