Carla Bruni-Sarkozy only got £125 a day for Woody Allen`s movie

London: French first lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy was just paid 125 pounds a day, the `base rate` for actors, for filming Woody Allen``s new movie in Paris, it has emerged.

According to the French web site Bakchich, the 45-year-old French first lady only received 150 euro for her work.

"That`s the tiny sum the First Lady of France was paid for the her role on the set of the film, also starring Owen Wilson and Marion Cotillard,” the Telegraph quoted the site as saying.

"It was the minimum wage paid to movie extras for her small part in Woody Allen`s film.

"Mr Allen also benefited in others ways from hiring Bruni, as she was accompanied by a large team of security men and he got all his filming authorities in record time," the site added.
