Hollywood star Charlize Theron`s production company has bought the rights of the best-selling memoir `Brain on Fire: My Month of Madness` and is planning to turn it into a film.

New York: Hollywood star Charlize Theron`s production company has bought the rights of the best-selling memoir `Brain on Fire: My Month of Madness` and is planning to turn it into a film.
The Simon and Schuster book is currently number five on the New York Times` paperback non-fiction list after first being published in 2012, reportedly.
The film will see Twilight` actress Dakota Fanning in a leading role.
The memoir follows the author`s true story of waking up in a hospital with no memory of the events of the previous month, and piecing together the medical mystery that landed her there.
