Cooper to play Lucifer `Paradise Lost` movie adaptation?

London: `Hangover` star Bradley Cooper is keen to play Lucifer in a movie adaptation of John Milton`s 17th century epic poem `Paradise Lost`.

Legendary picture wants to repeate Cooper after the success of `Hangover` and the negotiations are expected to begin shortly, the Hollywood Reporter said.

Alex Proyas has adapted the poem into a movie script.

`Paradise Lost` tells the story of the epic war in heaven between archangels Michael and Lucifer, the devil after being exiled from heaven. He was instrumental in the Adam and Eve`s fall from grace.

The film will be crafted as an action vehicle that will include aerial warfare, possibly shot in 3D.

Cooper will next be seen in `The Hangover Part II` which opens on May 26.
