Darabont to replace Rupert Sanders for `Snow White` sequel

Los Angeles: The `Walking Dead` executive producer Frank Darabont is in talks to replace Rupert Sanders in `The Huntsman`, a spinoff of Kristen Stewart-starrer `Snow White and the Huntsman`.

Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron will reprise their roles in Universal`s spin-off but Stewart is not coming back for a sequel, suggest reports.

The actress was caught in a massive media storm after it was revealed that she had an affair with the film`s married director, Sanders.

Stewart was dating her `Twilight` co-star Robert Pattinson when photographs of her with Sanders were published, forcing her to issue a public apology. The affair ended her relationship with Pattinson while Sanders was divorced by his wife Liberty Ross.

Darabont, who directed `The Shawshank Redemption` and `The Green Mile`, has not helmed a feature film since 2007`s `The Mist`.
