Dicaprio would make a great director, says filmmaker Clint Eastwood

London: Leonardo Dicaprio has been given the green signal to venture into direction.

Actor-turned-filmmaker Clint Eastwood feels that the leading man of his upcoming film ‘J. Edgar’ will make a great movie mogul.

“He’d be great. A lot of guys falter when they get in that chair,” the Daily Express quoted him telling GQ magazine.

“John Wayne - he found it overpowering. But for somebody who’s relaxed and understands other actors and likes the process, it’s kind of simple,” he added.
