Emma Watson wants to try ‘quirky’ comedies

Washington: Now that she is done with the role of Hermione Granger in the ‘Harry Potter’ movies, Emma Watson has expressed her desire to star in a ‘quirky’ comedy like ‘Notting Hill’.

With the wrapping up of the final ‘Harry Potter’ movie – ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2’, the 21-year-old British actress is looking forward to playing roles that are different than the role of Hermione. “I``m open to anything.

I`d happily do a romantic comedy, but it would have to be something quirky '€ something like ‘Notting Hill’,” Contactmusic quoted her as telling Britain``s Hello! magazine.

Watson’s next movie ‘The Perks of Being a Wallflower’ is a small budget film as compared to the huge budget and colossal sets of the ‘Harry Potter’ movies. “I got to be funny, which was very exciting for me,” she said.
