Los Angeles: Former Bond girl Eva Green is reportedly in talks to star in director Tim Burton`s `Miss Peregrine`s Home for Peculiar Children`.
The film, set for a release on July 31, next year, is based on Ransom Riggs` YA novel. The story is about a teenage boy who is transported to an island where he must help protect a group of orphans with special powers from creatures out to destroy them, reportedly.
The script was adapted by Jane Goldman. Green, 34, is reuniting with Burton after `Dark Shadows` to play the headmistress of the orphanage.
The actress will be next seen in `Sin City: A Dame to Kill For`.
