Family upset about Whitney Houston movie

Los Angeles: Tragic singer Whitney Houston`s family is reportedly upset that Lifetime is making a movie about her life because they feel she is too big for small screen.

The family of the late singer thinks that she was worthy of more than a television film, reportedly. "Whitney is certainly worthy of more than a television movie. If Whitney were here today, this would not be happening," said Pat Houston, Whitney`s former manager.

Lifetime made the announcement earlier this week that they are planning a biopic on Whitney for 2015, with Angela Bassett making her directorial debut with the film.

The Houston estate is so upset they are considering a lawsuit to block production. The family has already expressed displeasure to Lifetime and made it clear they weren`t on board with a TV movie, a source said. The Houston estate is reportedly planning its own movie for the big screen.
