London: The revolutionary 3D director James Cameron, filmmaker Andrew Adamson and Cirque du Soleil are in pact to produce a series of 3D movies.
The details haven’t been made public, except that the films will feature Soleil performers, famed for their acrobatic live performances. The first movie project, which has yet to be named, is already in production. Cameron said footage that has already been shot will ‘mesmerize audiences of all ages around the world’. “The images we’ve been shooting are stunning, and I know Andrew Adamson will weave them into a transporting, dreamlike narrative,” the BBC quoted Cameroon as saying. Adamson has directed five films, including two movies in the ‘Shrek’ series whereas performances by the Canada-based Cirque du Soleil include imaginative acrobatics, and colourful characters and costumes.
