Los Angeles: `127 Hours` star James Franco is set to be the subject of an upcoming documentary, it has been announced.
The 36-year-old actor will reveal intimate details about himself in the upcoming doc, helmed by first-time director Lisa Vangellow, reportedly.
The project has been titled `Franco: A Documentary`, and will chronicle a year in the actor`s life. Vangellow is reportedly in the early stages of editing the documentary, which began filming in June 2013.
Several of Franco`s famous friends, including Seth Rogen, will appear in the documentary. Among the moments to be featured in the movie are Franco`s time at several institutions including NYU, his introduction to the art world, and his debut on Broadway in `Of Mice and Men`.
It is unclear whether the documentary will touch on Franco`s recent Instagram controversies.
