James Franco, Winona team up for `The Stare`

New York: Actors James Franco and Winona Ryder are reportedly pairing up for a new film `The Stare`.

Ryder, who played an ageing ballerina in `Black Swan`, is in talks to portray the role of a playwright who gets paranoid when she struggles to start her new production. The film is being directed by Jay Anania, the Deadline reported.

In the new movie, Ryder`s character is driven mad by dreams and visions of being watched when she tries to launch her next production. Franco, in the meantime, will take the role of one of the performers in the playwright`s production.

The actor is best known for his role as Harry Osborn in the `Spider-Man` trilogy and Danny Boyle`s `127 Hours. He will next be seen in `Rise of the Planet of the Apes` with Indian beauty Freida Pinto.
