Jason Mewes wants to direct a horror movie

London: Actor Jason Mewes says he wants to make the move from acting to directing and make a horror movie.

The 39-year-old `Jay and Silent Bob` star is currently preparing for his and co-star Kevin Smith`s `Hollywood Babble-On` tour, reportedly. "I`m spinning a bunch of plates, as Kevin says. I might direct a horror movie. I directed a short, which turned out awesome. I`m big into horror, big into sci-fi. But I`m not a big fan of romantic comedies," Mewes said. The actor, who admits he has been sober for exactly 1,385 days after struggling with a heroin addiction in the past, was set to star in Smith`s version of `The Green Hornet` before the idea was scrapped but said he`s a big fan Seth Rogen`s portrayal of the superhero.
