Jason Statham`s diving skills `saved` him from death during `Expendables 3`

London: Jason Statham had a close call while filming for `The Expendables 3`, but was saved by his swimming skills. Co-star Sylvester Stallone, revealed that Statham, 47, who`s a former diver, was driving a wagon when its brakes failed, after which he immediately leapt and plunged 60ft into the Black sea, reportedly. The 68-year-old actor added that had there been someone else in the truck, they would have certainly not made it. Statham, who`s known to be a good at stunts, had competed for England in the 1990 Commonwealth Games in Auckland, New Zealand, before the 1998 film `Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.`
