London: `Social Network` star Jesse Eisenberg is in early negotiations to take one of the lead roles in Louis Leterrier`s magician heist thriller `Now You See Me`.
The 27-year-old actor shot to fame when he played the role of Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg in the movie `The Social Network`.
`Now You See Me` follows a group of the world`s greatest illusionists, who pull off daring bank heists during their performances, showering the profits on their audience.
However, the FBI eventually get involved which prompts a game of cat-and-mouse between the two groups, reported Contactmusic.
Colin Firth, Sacha Baron Cohen, Jim Carrey and Hugh Grant have all been in the running to take on the roles, but bosses at Summit Entertainment, who are making the movie, decided to go with a younger cast.
