London: Filmmaker JJ Abrams reportedly wants actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers to star in his upcoming film `Star Wars Episode 7`.
The actor is in line to reunite with the `Mission: Impossible 3` director in the highly-anticipated sequel, reported Digital Spy.
Little is known about the follow-up to 1983`s `Return of the Jedi` so far.
Stars like Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher are expected to return for the Disney film.
Best known for his role in `The Tudors`, Meyers will next be seen in `The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones` and in the title role of the Dracula television series.
