Josh Lucas boards Eastwood`s FBI movie
Los Angeles: Actor Josh Lucas is in talks to portray aviator Charles Lindbergh opposite Leonardo DiCaprio in Clint Eastwood`s biopic on former FBI director J Edgar Hoover.
The Warner Bros movie has been penned by penned by Oscar-winning scriptwriter of `Milk`, Dustin Lance Black Brian Grazer and Ron Howard are producing through Imagine Entertainment along with Eastwood.
Hoover was the director of the Bureau of Investigation in 1924 and was named head of the FBI when it was founded 11 years later, the Hollywood Reporter said.
Damon Herriman is playing Bruno Hauptmann, the German immigrant accused of kidnapping Lindbergh`s 20-month baby in 1932 in what was then called "the crime of the century." The subsequent trial against Hauptmann was one of the first major cases Hoover investigated.
Lucas will be seen next in Lionsgate`s `The Lincoln Lawyer`.
