Washington: Justin Timberlake is indebted to David Fincher, who cast him in ‘The Social Network’, as it was only after that that other directors took him seriously.
‘The Social Network’, a well-received drama, is about the founding of the social networking site Facebook, which has Justin Timberlake playing Sean Parker, founder of Napster. “I’m going to have to write some crazy thing in my will to him - or have a business card that says, ‘David Fincher put me in a movie’. Because as soon as that happened, film directors were like, ‘Ohh, he can see something in him that we can’t’,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying. Timberlake also admitted that he liked working with Fincher, as the director always makes films according to his own will. “I learned a hell of a lot. He puts his middle finger up and says, ‘This is what I’m doing’,” Timberlake told Elle magazine. ANI
