Keira Knightley gets award on birthday

London: Hollywood actress Keira Knightley had a special birthday present when she was honoured as film hero at the Empire movie awards.

The actress who turned 26 recently was presented with the accolade at the London ceremony the by `Atonement` co-star James McAvoy, reported a website. "It was my birthday (on Saturday) so this is a great way to celebrate turning 26," said Knightley. The other winners of the event include `Dracula` star Gary Oldman, who was honoured with the Film Icon title. Christopher Nolan`s sci-fi thriller `Inception` bagged the Best Film award. The `Girl With The Dragon Tattoo` took two titles - Best Thriller and Best Actress (Noomi Rapace), while the Best Actor trophy went to Colin Firth. PTI
