Kelly Osbourne lands first major movie role

London: Rocker Ozzy Osbourne`s daughter Kelly has landed her first starring role in a new film.

The 25-year-old, who had earlier dabbled in music and television, will play a "crazy groupie" in the film `Should
Have Been Romeo`, reported a news website.

"I got my first movie role. We have been in rehearsals for a week and I start filming on Wednesday. I could not be happier," Osbourne wrote on Twitter.

"The movie is called "Should of been Romeo" [sic] it`s a comedy and I play the role of Nicole who is a crazy groupie! It`s amazingly funny," she added.

Prior to her good news, it had been a tough time for Kelly.

The reality star split up with her 20-year-old fiancen Luke Worrall amid reports that he cheated with a female model and she returned home from a vacation in Las Vegas to discover her beloved dog, Woody dead.

Kelly first shot to fame on TV, appearing with her famous parents Sharon and Ozzy, and brother Jack, on their hit show, `The Osbournes`.
