Kylie jokes about making one-off return appearance on ‘Neighbours’

Melbourne: Australian singer Kylie Minogue has jokingly said that it would really be fun if she could don her old overalls once again for a one-off return appearance on ‘Neighbours’.

Minogue, 41, who shot to fame in the 1980s soap opera as car mechanic Charlene Robinson, told reporters at a sneak preview of her new album in London that she thinks it would be hilarious to reprise her role.

“The other day I thought how much fun it would be to do it after years of saying never,” a news daily quoted her as telling the Sun.

“I’ve decided how it would work.

“Charlene would screech up the drive in her souped-up Mini which she’s been working on all the time.

“I don’t watch the show any more, but it could be fun to do that. It could be hilarious,” she added.
