LiLo’s mum seeking £3million fund for drug movie
London: Lindsay Lohan’s mother Dina has sought more than 3 million pounds from investors so that she can fund her new drug movie, with big names such as Selena Gomez, Amanda Seyfried and Dakota Fanning starring the line up.
Dina, who heads up production company Defiant Pictures, has ventured in a new drama called ‘Growing Defiant’, described as ‘the story of three life long friends from upper middle class Long Island, who delve into the underworlds of heroin’.
She has chalked out a business plan to finance the movie, and distributed to prospective investors, reports the Daily Star.
According to a website, in a copy of the plan she has also outlined her dream cast, where she has asked for 3.3 million pounds besides wishing to have young faces including Fanning, Gomez and Seyfried in the cast.
She also wanted Hayden Panettiere, Emma Stone, James Gandolfini and Susan Sarandon to sign up for the picture.
Of the total amount that Dina is seeking, she has allocated 687,500 pounds for actors’ fees. (ANI)"We have used a bit of hand painting in most of our couture line. Now, we have decided to extend it to a line of paintings titled Fashion on Canvas. We will also exhibit some social issues through these paintings. In due course we plan to get into interiors as well," said Mona.
