Mel Gibson’s ‘The Beaver’ to hit theatres in spring

Gibson’s latest offering, which has been directed by Jodie Foster, was put on hold when the actor hit the headlines this year amid reports of a domestic dispute with his Oksana.

London: Mel Gibson’s new film ‘The Beaver’ is set for release in spring (11), the movie executives confirmed.
Gibson’s latest offering, which has been directed by Jodie Foster, was put on hold when the actor hit the headlines earlier this year amid reports of a domestic dispute with his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva, reports a daily. His reputation took a further hit after he and Grigorieva began a bitter custody battle over their daughter, Lucia, and the controversy is said to have cost him a cameo in the upcoming ‘The Hangover’ sequel. But executives at Summit Entertainment are now ready to launch Gibson’s comeback - the studio has confirmed the movie will hit theatres in spring. A source told the Los Angeles Times that bosses are tentatively considering a weekend in April for the release. ANI
