Morgan Freeman planning to retire from Hollywood?

London: Hollywood veteran Morgan Freeman is reportedly planning to retire.

The actor, 76, is apparently ready to call time on his 50 year showbiz career and live out his days at his sprawling Mississippi farm, reported Showbiz Spy.

Morgan severely damaged his arm in a car crash and lives in constant agony.

"Morgan has some serious health issues, and it can be agony for him just to get through a working day on the set. Even a year ago, he admits the thought of retiring hadn`t even crossed his mind, but it`s front and centre now.

"He wants to live out his days in peace, away from the cameras. He tries to hide the pain that shoots up his arm, but you can see him grimacing. His farm is a haven where he can read, walk around and be alone with his thoughts. He still gets stacks of scripts to consider and remains one of the most in-demand narration and voice-over people in the business," a source said.
