No more `Shrek` for Cameron Diaz

London: Hollywood actress Cameron Diaz has revealed that ‘Shrek Forever After’ will be her last film as Princess Fiona.

The 37-year-old actress admits it`s heartbreaking for her to bid farewell to her character in the ‘Shrek’ series, insisting it means a lot to her.

"It`s funny because I didn`t realise how big a part of me Fiona and Shrek have been for the last 10 years. I suppose I just took it for granted," quoted her as saying.

"You know, I always thought I`d get another call and we`d start the next one. I`d get to hang out with Shrek, Donkey and Puss and we`d have a great time, going in every few months to do a little bit more. But it`s not going to be that way now."

The actress went on: "It`s kind of heartbreaking. It has been such a privilege and honour for me to be a part of something that is so good in so many ways. I don`t mean just as a successful film, but for what it puts out into the world, how it speaks to people and how they relate to it. It`s a wonderful thing to be a part of and a real honour."
