‘Puss in Boots’ lead Box Office race with $34 million collection

Washington: Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek’s “Puss in Boots” topped the box office this weekend, with an approximate 34 million dollars collection.

The DreamWorks 3-D animated film, distributed by Paramount Pictures, proved the popular character voiced by Antonio Banderas was a big enough draw outside the "Shrek" franchise, Fox News reported.

In the second place was horror flick ‘Paranormal Activity 3’ with 18.5 million-dollar collection in its second week of release and bringing its cumulative total to 81.3 million dollars.

‘In Time’, which was placed third at the box office opened with 12 million dollars domestically but took in more (14.5 million dollars) overseas.
