Los Angeles: Quidditch, a game that JK Rowling introduced in her `Harry Potter` novels, is getting a documentary which will explore the real-life competition. Titled `Mudbloods`, the film documents the Fifth Annual Qudditch World Cup in New York City and specifically the fight the underdog team from UCLA makes to claim the ultimate golden snitch.
The film was directed by former UCLA film student Farzad Sangari and will be distributed by BOND/360. "`Mudbloods` gives audiences a glimpse into a growing collegiate sport that was inspired by the preeminent cultural touchstone of our generation... Harry Potter," said Amanda Lebow, Director of Film Strategy for BOND/360 in a statement.
