Robert Pattinson wants to play a superhero

Los Angeles: After playing a vampire in the `Twilight` franchise, actor Robert Pattinson is now willing to play a superhero in a movie.

The 24-year-old British actor, who is currently promoting new romantic drama `Water for Elephants` with Reese Witherspoon, would love to have the chance to portray a man with special powers but refused to pick one because he doesn`t want to disappoint fans, reported MTV.

When asked if he would like a superhero movie, Pattinson said, "I`d love to, definitely. I don`t what superhero you`d do. Is there any left?

"I shouldn`t even say this stuff, because all the little fanboys will be like, `No! I`m gonna shoot him!` "

Pattinson, who is dating his co-star Kristen Stewart, recently said intimate scenes in movies feel like playing a version of contortion game Twister and were always "awkward" to do.

"It`s always awkward, in a way, doing it with anybody. But at the same time, it really depends on how it`s staged and stuff. It`s like doing Twister."
