London: `Avatar` star Sam Worthington is all set to star in a surfing drama based on a real life story.
The actor, who himself is an avid surfer, will begin shooting `Drift`, which is being marketed as the biggest surfing movie since the 1991 hit `Point Break`.
Worthington will play one of the Fisher brothers, who attempt to escape their troubled background to start a new life on the Western Australian cost, a newspaper reported.
"Drift combines serious Australian talent both in front of and behind the camera with (directors) Morgan O`Neill and Ben Nott, together with Sam Worthington who has been in some of the highest grossing international films of the last few years," the newspaper said.
The actor is also set to return to the sequel of `Clash of Titans`.
