Selena Gomez concerned Brit accent is not up to the mark in ‘Monte Carlo’

Washington: Selena Gomez has admitted that she is nervous her British accent in the romantic comedy ‘Monte Carlo’ will not be up to the mark.

The Disney actress, who appears in the movie in two roles, one of which is a British heiress called Cordelia Winthrop Scott, is said to be concerned about getting her accent right.

“I did about two weeks of training before the film. It was really fun, but I was really nervous,” a website quoted her as saying.

Gomez, 18, stars alongside ‘Glee’ actor Corey Monteith and ‘Gossip Girl’ beauty Leighton Meester in the movie.
