Spielberg ‘axed Megan Fox from ‘Transformers 3’ over Hitler jibe’

London: Offended by Megan Fox’s remarks comparing director Michael Bay to Adolf Hitler, Steven Spielberg demanded that she be immediately fired from ‘Transformers 3’.

Bay revealed the sudden sacking of Fox, who starred in the earlier two ‘Transformers’ movies ahead of the July 4 premiere.

“You know the Hitler thing. Steven (Spielberg) said, fire her right now,” the Daily Mail quoted Bay as saying.

Fox had been cast in the third film, but shortly before the production began she gave an interview to the British magazine ‘Wonderland’, saying that Bay wanted to be like ‘Hitler’ on his sets.

Spielberg is the executive producer of the film and was outraged at the audacious comments of the 25-year-old actress.

He quickly got Fox replaced by British model Rosie Huntingdon-Whitley in the movie, which also stars Shia LaBeouf.
