Los Angeles: Oscar-winning actor Jeff Bridges is impressed with his `The Giver` co-star Taylor Swift`s work in the film and wants her to continue acting besides singing and song-writing.
Swift, 24, who is known country singer, made her acting debut in 2009, starring in an episode of `CSI: Crime Scene Investigation` and later did some cameos in films.
`The Love Story` singer was drafted in to play Bridges` piano-playing daughter at the last minute and had to jet out to Capetown, South Africa for shooting, reportedly.
"Her first day of work was right on the heels of arriving in Capetown. She was exhausted but she was such a pro and so up for being involved and playing and took right to the acting," Bridges said.
"I hope she continues the acting. She`s very talented, as well as being a great songwriter and performer. I`m so glad she stepped on board. She had read the book and was a big fan. She`s terrific," said the 64-year-old actor, who has also produced the film.
`The Giver`, also starring Meryl Streep and Katie Holmes in prominent roles, is set to release in US and India on August 15.
