‘The Rock’ puts on wings to play a fairy
London: He is an ace wrestler known for his fierce persona but Dwayne Johnson, better known as `The Rock`, will play a fairy in his upcoming film.
The `Scorpion King` star plays a tough hockey player, who is forced to become a winged angel as repentance for his misdoings in the film `The Tooth Fairy`, reported Sun online.
The movie stars none other than Julie Andrews in the role of the Fairy Godmother.
In one of the promos of the film, the former wrestler, dressed in fairy wings and protective gear, gets a scolding from Andrews over his inability to do the job.
"According to your case worker you`ve not exactly embodied the spirit of a tooth fairy," she tells him.
"My case worker has wing envy," he hits back. Johnson plays a tough nut hockey player who is known as The Tooth Fairy due to his habit of knocking out the molars
of his opponents.
When he upsets a kid by shattering his dreams, he is sentenced to become a real tooth fairy for a week.
