`The Turtle` wins award at Dubai film fest
An environmental film ‘The Turtle’, produced in the UAE, has won the "Distinguished Character" award at the Ninth Dubai International Film Festival.

Dubai: An environmental film ‘The Turtle’, produced in the UAE, has won the "Distinguished Character" award at the Ninth Dubai International Film Festival.
Ahmed Al Dahouri, who starred in the film that tries to create awareness about the protection and conservation of marine life, received the award at a ceremony held in Dubai.
‘The Turtle’ has also won awards at the Cannes Corporate Media and TV Festival 2012 and achieved a Silver Medal at the EXPO 2012 in Yeosu, Korea.
The Dubai film festival screened 158 films from different countries.
