Timothy Dalton may play Alfred Pennyworth in `Man of Steel` sequel

London: Timothy Dalton is reportedly being considered to play Batman`s loyal butler Alfred Pennyworth in the upcoming Batman v Superman flick.

According to Cosmic Book News, the former `James Bond` actor might step into the role that was earlier played by Michael Caine, Metro.co.uk reported. Speculations are that director Zack Snyder and writer David Goyer are interested in a "different take" on the loyal butler. The upcoming `Man of Steel` sequel which is expected to start shooting in Michigan early 2014, stars Ben Affleck opposite Henry Cavill, as Batman. ANI
