London: British actress Gemma Arterton has revealed her love for playing daring characters.
The 24-year-old former Bond girl, who was catapulted to global fame when she landed the role of Agent Fields in ‘Quantum Of Solace’, disclosed how she enjoyed playing “s-----“ characters.
Playing such roles meant she could better understand how promiscuous women felt and were treated by society, she said, reports the Telegraph.
Her comments came as she promoted her new film Tamara Drewe, a comedy based on Posy Simmonds` graphic novel.
Set in the English countryside, it is a comedy from director Stephen Frears about a young newspaper journalist torn between two lovers.
