Los Angeles: Even as both of them are portraying Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis in two different projects, American actress Rachel Weisz does not think a rivalry will develop between her and Katie Holmes.

"She`s a fantastic actress, she will be fabulous. It`s not a competition. I`m surprised more people haven`t played her so far. It seems strange there hasn`t been many versions. But it`s great she has the opportunity to play her as well," Weisz said.

The 40-year-old Oscar-winning actress will star in the big-screen drama, to be directed by husband Darren Aronofsky, which chronicles the days immediately following President John F Kennedy`s 1963 assassination, People reported online.

Holmes, on the other hand will star in the History Channel`s eight-hour miniseries, `The Kennedys`, co-starring Greg Kinnear and due to premiere next year.

"It`s extremely exciting and scary at the same time, she`s American royalty. So there`s some fear," Weisz said on playing the role and added that "for sure" she will watch Holmes on the small screen.
