London: Hit TV sitcom `Two And A Half Men` is adding a new female cast member to the show, replacing child actor Angus T Jones who has been associated with the serial for 10 seasons.
It is said that Warner Bros are looking for a 20-something actress to play the part of the late Charlie Harper`s long lost daughter. Jones spent the better part of his adolescence on the Warner Bros sound stage, but he made it clear he will not be coming back for season 11 of the hit CBS show, reported Daily Mirror. After a decade of playing the lazy, always hungry son of Alan Harper, played by Jon Cryer, the now 19-year-old actor is moving on. Jones perhaps was coerced into leaving the show after his viral video tirade in November 2012. In a videotaped segment with the religious website Forerunner Chronicles, the actor called the show "filth". "If you watch `Two And A Half Men`, please stop watching `Two And A Half Men`. I`m on `Two And A Half Men`, and I don`t want to be on it. Please stop watching it, please stop filling your head with filth. People say it`s just entertainment. "Do some research on the effects of television and your brain, and I promise you, you`ll have a decision to make when it comes to television, especially with what you watch on television. It`s bad news." PTI
