Mumbai: Even someone as big as Big B was not spared off of the pre-show jitters of the launch of India's biggest reality show – 'Kaun Banega Crorepati'. The show which the superstar will be hosting, kicks off on Monday, 11th October.

Surprisingly, Big B has butterflies in his tummy as he feels hosting a show of such a magnitude is not an easy task. "One is always anxious because it is a creative job. One has to come in front of an audience. And, the audience is going to rate us on how we have done, whether we have lived up to their expectation or not. When you have to present something to the audience, there is always that apprehension. With creativity comes nervousness,`` said the actor.

He further added, "'Kaun Banega Crorepati' is truly a show which is of the people, by the people and for the people. It gives every Indian an equal opportunity to win a life changing amount. In our culture, we are taught to value knowledge, that it is rewarding, KBC re-affirms that view as a person can use that knowledge and win ` five crore on the show."

The actor, who is an institution in himself, is quite nervous as he feels he is not quite familiar with the TV trend set by the channel. He thinks that the channel will best decide what will be entertaining for the viewers so he would rather do what the channel says.

"The channel is more anxious than perhaps people who participate because they design something, and, we (the hosts) just do it according to the design”, he said.

Big B will be performing at the launch of the show to a medley of his hit songs. It is also reported that the actor of the millennium will also deliver some of the his hit dialogue from his block-buster films. The actor will also pay tribute to his father and one of the greatest Hindi poets Harivansh Rai Bachchan by reciting a poem written by the legend writer.

Music director duo Vishal and Shekhar have composed special tracks and the performances have been choreographed by Shiamak Davar. The sets have been designed by art director - Nitin Desai, and Vikram Phadnis has designed Big B’s wardrobe.

The launch of the show coincides with the legendry star’s 68th birthday.

Here’s wishing Big B a very Happy Birthday in advance.
