Andy Samberg quits `Saturday Night Live`

London: Funnyman Andy Samberg is all set to quit weekly comedy show `Saturday Night Live`.

The 33-year-old American comedian, who is the brains behind the show`s star-studded digital short movies, has confirmed that he will be following Kristen Wiig, who gave her final SNL appearance during May 12 season finale, reported a website.

"It`s an incredibly emotional and strange moment in my life. Obviously it`s not a huge shock, but I did officially decide not to come back... (It was) one of the hardest decisions I`ve ever made," he said.

Samberg has been on the show for seven seasons and is best remembered for his comedy video with Justin Timberlake.
