Los Angeles: 'Beauty & the Beast' has been renewed by The CW.

The drama series - starring Kristin Kreuk and Jay Ryan - will return for a fourth season, the network confirmed reported Deadline.

The CW also revealed that the show will premiere its 13-episode third season on May 21.

The run will see Cat and Vincent struggle to build a normal life together. The couple's love for each other will be tested, as they uncover a startling conspiracy.

'Beauty & the Beast' also features Austin Basis, Nina Lisandrello and Nicole Gale Anderson.

Last month, The CW announced the renewals of 'Arrow', 'The Flash', 'The Vampire Diaries' and 'The Originals'.

'Supernatural', 'The 100', 'Reign' and Golden Globe-winning 'Jane the Virgin' were also confirmed to be returning for the 2015-16 season.
