Bill Fagerbakke to star on 'Coach' reboot

Los Angeles: Actor Bill Fagerbakke, who was a series regular on the 1990s TV show "Coach", is returning for its upcoming revival.

Fagerbakke, 57, played Michael 'Dauber' Dybinski, a special teams coach on the show's original nine-season run on ABC.

He will accompany his old co-star, Craig T Nelson, on the follow-up series. Nelson will reprise his role as Hayden Fox and executive produce, reported Entertainment Weekly.
The revival picks up 18 years after the original series ended with Hayden now serving as his son's assistant coach at a Pennsylvania Ivy League school that is in the middle of launching its new football program.

"Coach" creator Barry Kemp is leading the revival, which will premiere midseason on NBC.
