Los Angeles: Country singer Blake Shelton has poked fun at his light-hearted rivalry with Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine on 'The Voice' in a promo video of his 'Saturday Night Live' appearance.

Shelton, 38 and Levine are coaches on season 8 of singing reality show 'The Voice', reported Ace Showbiz.

When asked by 'SNL' regular Cecily Strong if his rivalry with Levine is real, he said, "It's real. It's so real, in fact, that guy's such a punk. I actually have a message for you right now, Adam." He adds in a taunting manner, "Hey Adam. Look who's hosting 'SNL' now, pretty boy!"

In another sketch, Shelton spoofed 'The Voice'.
