London: Bobbi Kristina Brown has said that her late mother Whitney Houston’s spirit still visits and comforts her. In an interview with chat show host Oprah Winfrey, which was aired on Sunday night, the 19-year-old spoke publicly for first time since Houston’s death.
“Especially throughout the house, lights turning off and on. And I’ll say, ‘Mom, what are you doing?” a leading daily has quoted Bobbi as saying on the show.
“I can hear her voice in spirit talking to me, saying, ‘Keep moving, baby. I gotcha’… Her spirit is strong,” she said.
Bobbi Kristina insisted she was as close to her mother as a daughter could be.
“We were like that,” she said crossing her fingers.
“I mean, of course, we had arguments, but at the end of the day she was still my mother, she was my confidant. She was my everything. I was her everything,” she said.
She revealed they spent most of the day before her mother died together.
“She stayed with me all night and all day. She was holding my head, everything. I slept in her arms all day,” the bereaved daughter said.
In her last will and testament, made public last week, Houston named Bobbi as the sole beneficiary of her estate, which includes Atlanta and Mendham Township, NJ. Bobbi Kristina’s inheritance will be placed in a trust until she turns 21 in 2014. While Houston mentioned her ex-husband Bobby Brown in the 19-page document, she didn’t leave him anything.
