Charlie Sheen hopes for 'Two and a Half Men' return

Los Angeles: Actor Charlie Sheen is still hoping to return to 'Two and a Half Men'. The 49-year-old actor said that CBS is open to him reprising his role as Charlie Harper in the hit sitcom, reported E! online.

"They know that I want to do it, and I know that they're open to it, so I guess we're just a meeting away from making it happen," Sheen said.

"I just think I owe it some measure of closure. I owe it to the fans, I owe it myself, I owe it to Chuck Lorre, Jon Cryer. Yeah, I just think it makes sense."

Sheen had an infamous falling out with the show's creator Lorre and was fired from the series in 2011.

Lorre has previously indicated that the focus for the 12th and final season will be on Cryer and Ashton Kutcher's characters.
"Outside characters will come in as they do, but that's not the focus," he said.
