Los Angeles: Actor Charlie Sheen`s television comeback ‘Anger Management’, in which he stars as a former baseball ace-turned-anger management psychiatrist, is already a hit.
It went on air Thrusday and 5.5 million people tuned in to watch the first episode, while 5.7 million caught the second instalment of the show, which followed immediately afterwards, reports a website.
Celebrating the news, Sheen posted on his Twitter page: "Thank you all for tuning in."
The 46-year-old signed the show last year after he was fired from sitcom ‘Two and a Half Men’ following a public bust-up with producers.
‘Anger Management’ is based on Adam Sandler and Jack Nicholson`s 2003 movie of the same name.
