Cheryl Cole asking 1.2 million pounds for `The X Factor` return?

Los Angeles: Pop star Cheryl Cole is reportedly asking for 1.2 million pounds to return as a host to `The X Factor`.

The 30-year-old singer, who was sacked from `The X Factor` USA after a brief stint as a judge, is in negotiations with the bosses for a return to the UK version of show, reported MTV news. "It`s significant that they`re talking they`ve fallen out in the past and this period of peace makes her return a matter of when, rather than if," a source said. Simon Cowell, who is the creater of the show, would readily take the singer back. "Simon would take Cheryl back in a flash. It will be a triumphant return and a massive payday," the source added.
